Medical Bills/Living Expenses

After a year of fighting stage 3b cervical cancer, it seems my luck is running out. I have been fortunate enough to have all my medical costs covered up to this point. Now thanks to Medicaid cuts, I have lost my medical coverage. The small amount of income I manage to raise each month does not even cover my rent payments, let alone food and utilities. I am facing eviction from my home as well. I don't know yet what is going to happen with my chemotherapy, or any of the other medical procedures I still require to finish this battle. My medication alone is well over $500 per month. I have now become one of the many people who will be left to die without medical coverage. I have been scared throughout this entire journey, but now I am completely terrified. Do I give up? Do I reach out desperately for help? What do I do? These are the questions that disrupt my sleep and plague my days. I have been fortunate in the number of people who have helped me over the last year, but as I near the end of my treatment cycle (2 more chemo treatments to go) I find myself with no choice but to once more ask for help. I have been attempting to find employment that will work around my treatment schedule, with no luck whatsoever. I understand...it would be a high risk to hire me.
If I can make it through March, and have the funds to pay rent and payments for my medical care, I just might make it. Without these next two treatments and a place to live, I will surely succumb to the cancer.
Every penny will make a difference. Even small donations will help my cause. Please find it in your heart to help me make it through.
