Ferrie's Cancer Fight

/>I am 45-years-old and this is my second battle with cancer. I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer in 2008 at the age of 39. I was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma which originated in the lungs (rare) in November of 2013 and had surgery in December of 2013. I am back at work now but I have used up all of my vacation time. I have to leave work everyday to go for my treatments and have not been able to build back my vacation time. I have not had a full paycheck since January and I am falling behind on my household bills and the medical bills are mounting. Even when I am able to work full time, it will take me quite some time to catch back up and then begin paying the medical bills.



Having cancer is hard enough without having to worry about how you are going to pay your bills. Asking for help is so hard for me, but I am just overwhelmed by the medical bills that are coming in on a daily basis. I am a single mom to a 12-year-old son and my 81-year-old mother also lives with me. My friends and church family have been incredible during all of this. I am so blessed and would appreciate any help at all. No amount is too small. God bless everyone!
