Ben's story:
On Thanksgiving we found a little baby kitten inside of a freezing cold barn. We immediately knew he had to come home with us.
Ben has always been a little but has the personality of a little giant. He's a sweetie and very close to our hearts. He pulled me through losing our senior cat and I am forever grateful for this.
Tonight Ben was running a high fever.
Being that it was the night before Easter, we took him to the Veternarian hospital for their 24 hour ER.
After X-rays and bloodwork...
They found that Ben has a severe intestinal obstruction and secondary opinions from radiologists confirm this as well.
His intestines are all bunched and due to the obstruction, this can result very badly if not surgically removed.
As as I type this, my heart breaks and tears are pouring down my face. This little guy is just amazing and Im praying there are some big hearts out there like ours that can help.
The doctor is there now until 8am (Shawn at Menzger Veterinary Hospital) and is willing to do the surgery asap but it's super costly.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
