help with my father's end of life costs

My father is in his last days due to both heart and kidney failure. He has been given less than a week. My mom has been the sole caregiver for my dad since his decline this past fall. She has had some help from neighbors and friends, but has largely shoulder the burden herself, with grace, while continuing to work full-time. Unfortunately, with my dad passing, my mom will have to sell the house pretty quickly. It is too large and comes with too much land for her to be able to take care of, not to mention it is a financial burden if she ever wants to retire. And it needs some work before it can be sold. There are downed trees over the fence, the long driveway needs repair, the fence needs repair, not to mention replacing carpets, painting, and fixing any structural, (plumbing, electrical, etc.) problems that are found. She is not able to maintain the fields herself and has to pay someone to do it. There will also be bills that will come in for the hospice care dad gets a few times a week, plus the cost of his memorial. My mother is the first person to jump in to help someone and the last person to ask for help. So I'm asking for her, because I know she is overwhelmed and needs it. Anything, no matter how small, will be a huge weight off of her shoulders, and mine as well. A small portion of the money will be used to pay for my trip home to be with my dad. After moving to another state, getting married, and dealing with the loss of my sister-in-law, I am financially (and emotionally) wrung out. This will pay for the gas so that I can make it back home. Thank you in advance for making our last moments with Dad less stressful. Any words of care or love will be passed on to my dad during the times he is awake.
