Cookie is a gorgeous 9 month old puppy that has been abused most of his life. He has just recently been rescued by myself and everyone at here at Furry Kids Morningside.
He spent most of his life in a cat crate covered in his own feces with rubber bands tied around his mouth to prevent him from barking. When he came to us his jaw had been split open and he was extremely malnourished so much so that you could see his spine and ribs sticking out. One of his back legs has been broken and he was never taken to a vet to be put into a cast so it has healed wrong and to the side so cookie walks with quite a prominent limp. His other leg trying to compensate has been put out of place and after being taken to the vet we have found out that unfortunately cookie is in need of two major operations.
We would love to fix both of Cookies legs but the price is costly (over 3 grand) and then there will be rehabilitation needed. To fix one leg (so Cookie can have at least 3 good legs) it will be almost 2 grand including rehabilitation so as i am not in the financial position to pay for all of this depending on the money we raise Cookie will either have one or both legs operated on. If you are an animal lover and would love to help this little pup have the best life he can have any donation big or small is more then appreciated and Cookie, myself and Furry Kids thankyou sooo much for you generosity : )
