Uganda Internship

Many of you know that I went to Uganda last summer as part of a class. I have been blessed with the opportunity to return to Uganda in May as part of an internship! I am very excited to once again be working with the organization, Mission: Moving Mountains, and I know that God is going to do some amazing things over the course of my time spent there. The main focus of my internship will be to help the continued development of Youth Groups in the areas surrounding Mbale. The population of Uganda is one of the youngest in the world. Think of all the potential future leaders that could come from this country! Unfortunately, there are no youth groups in Uganda. This combined with the cost of education causes many Ugandan youth to fall short of their potential. God willing, I will be a part of helping Ugandans to give their youth a better future.


There are three ways that you can help me in my journey to Uganda:


1) The cost of my trip will be $2,975. Of course, this and the dates of my trip are subject to change; life is funny like that. This money will cover my travel expenses, language learning, food, housing, etc. That amount of money can seem like a lot, especially to a college student. This is where you come in. Financial support is one way that you can help me with my internship.


2) Prayer is a huge part of what I will be doing. I would ask that you would pray for travel safety (and that none of my luggage gets lost nor that I miss any flights), pray for my preparation to go smoothly, and pray for the people that I will be working with in Uganda.



3) Share this link and help me raise support! The more supporters I have the easier it will be for me to raise the funds I need, and it will also mean that there are more people praying over my internship.
