HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Tax deductible
For the past 4yrs MVP RECOVERY has teamed up with local non-profits to present our annual “HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS” event. This year we are super excited to team up with an amazing non-profit that has dedicated itself to providing education, prevention, resources, scholarships, and support to Delaware County residents struggling with addiction along with those in Recovery: SPRINGFIELD CARES COALITION. This non-profit consists of Delaware County residents who joined forces because they wanted to better their community and help individuals and families devastated by this epidemic. MVP could not be more proud to team with this amazing organization and help each other fulfill our mission to help others!

The Hope for the Holidays event (that has a special appearance From Santa Claus!) is a family friendly holiday party where we collect donations and put together care packages that we deliver to the homeless and addicted In Kennsignton, Philadelphia.

With generous donations from businesses and individuals throughout Delaware County, the Hope for the Holidays event has delivered over 1,000 care packages during the holiday season to those who are on the street and struggling with addiction. Last year alone we delivered over 400 care packages! These care packages contain items that the people we are helping have expressed a need for such as winter socks, gloves, blankets, snacks, & treatment/recovery resources to plant the seed and assist them in obtaining treatment. This year we have made donations to this event even easier by creating an Amazon Registry under the name “Hope for the Holidays 2018”.

In addition to distributing these care packages the MVP RECOVERY Community takes the time to listen and talk with the individuals we are interacting with. Last year through our efforts we were able to help 4 people get into treatment that very day. All 4 were Delaware County residents that were homeless and addicted on the streets of Kensington, Philadelphia. 2 were from Springfield Township and 2 were from Ridley Township and one of them was a 20 y/o pregnant woman.

With your help and donations our Hope is to help even more people this year! Please join us on Saturday 12/8 from 10-3; @ Fellowship Hall; 350 W State St Media, PA 19063, for our family friendly holiday party where we will put together our care packages, enjoy fun, food, & fellowship, and have an opportunity for free pictures with Santa!

Please check out our Amazon registry under: “Hope for the Holidays 2018” any and all donations can help bring Hope to someone struggling this Holiday season!
