Team Decker

On January 7th Robb was admitted into the hospital in SC. He had the flu and a hernia and was putting off getting surgery until they got back from our Pennsylvania trip. He did not feel his appendix rupture. He walked around like that for almost 2 weeks the drs project. Because of the appendix rupturing, it put a hole in his colon and gi track. E Coli was throughout his abdominal wall damaging 75% of the tissue and muscle. 5 days after that he became septic. Surgery revealed Necrotizing fasciitis and a huge portion of his muscle was removed. Hes been in ICU in a medical induced coma. Since then he has had a collapsed lung and heart issues. He will need extensive reconstruction surgeries later on and possibly a transfer to another facility. They have a 12 and 3 year old and are now without two incomes. Regular bills and hospital bills are now rolling in. They have not asking for donations nor handouts and appreciate all the love, support and prayers everyone has provided. I am setting this page up for those of you who have asked about his story and what you could do to help directly. The only request the family has made is to please keep comments and things mindful and respectful as their daughter and other young family members are on facebook and as you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for everyone!

Also, there are tshirts being sold to show your support for #TeamDecker
