Dakota Strong
Donation protected
One year ago Dakota was diagnosed with Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma which is an aggressive cancer. He went through 42 rounds of chemotherapy, 1 month of radiation and 6 months of maintenance chemotherapy. In February of 2022 he went into remission and was cancer free.
Over the past year we have been celebrating life doing everything Dakota loves to do. We've been able to go to the beach, the mountains, and just recently got back from his Make-A-Wish trip to Disney.
He had monthly scans right before we went to Disney. When we got back we learned that a spot showed up in his original tumor site that they were concerned about. They decided to do a biopsy that showed his cancer was unfortunately back after a year off treatment.
He will be having his port put in April 5th and chemo will begin the Friday after Easter.
We ask for everyone's prayers during this fight again because we know how strong the power of prayer is!
In the words of Dakota.. "I am strong and brave and I will get through this!"
Anything that is donated will go towards our bills since my husband will most like be out of work sometimes.
