Roller Derby is a sport that has experienced record growth in recent years. It involves players of various ages ranging from 8 to 60 years old. Also, there are players from several fields such as medical doctors, teachers, artists, vendors, homemakers and students.
In Brazil , the sport has grown very quickly and can be found in several states including Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina . The Roller Derby players in Brazil and abroad have worked very hard to overcome all challenges on its path of growth to bring the sport to a new level of gameplay.
Our desire to stand out and represent Brazil the best way possible is second to none. We love what we we do what we love and work tirelessly to improve. In December 2014 we, Team Brasil, will be going to Texas for the World Cup of Roller Derby for the second time and we are preparing every day to show the world how we Brazilians are able to be the best at what we do. The team currently gets together for monthly practices and bouts and every semester we have brought highly qualified professionals from the derby universe to help improve our team even more. We also travel to different cities in order to promote the sport we love.
And here is where you come into play: you, our fans, are an essential part of Team Brasil. Representing Brazil is to represent each of us Brazilians and every single person that has helped us through this journey. Help us show the world what we can do!

You can help us by donating any amount of money you would like, but IF you’re unsure about how much to donate, we can make your life easier by offering you some special fan packages***:
$ 25 – t-shirt
$ 35 - t-shirt + button + sticker
$ 65 – t-shirt + tote bag + sticker + button
$ 200 – a signed jersey that will be mailed the week after the world cup
*** packages 1,2 and 3 will be mailed 2 weeks before the world cup
