medical, travel and healing
My daughter was 32 when she was diagnosed with colon cancer. After many years of trying to find out why she was so sick and tired all the time. After giving birth to her beautiful baby boy, she found out that she had a tumor. It was found..... not by the many doctors she saw for over 6 years but a nurse practitioner 2 hours away, finally said this is not in your head, we will start at the top and work our way down if we don't find anything we will go from the bottom up. There it was a tumor that had been growing for more than 6 years and now was through the colon wall and stage 4. It was never looked at because she was too young to be checked for colon cancer and it never showed up in any of the cancer screenings. It is now in her blood, so it can show up anywhere and it is not genetic so it is not as easy to treat because it is environmentally contracted.
They say her prognosis is not good and we say they don't know.
She now has her third tumor and they don't want to do surgery because it is to close to her spine. 3rd round of chemo. Lorena has been through so much in her life at 13 she had major back surgery and she has two titanium rods from her neck down to her lower spine. She has three wonderful children and keeps on fighting for them. She is a single Mom on a fixed income and has more than she can handle already but she always does it with a smile and puts her children first. I believe that helping someone survive is the greatest gift you can give. It is very hard to ask for help so I appreciate even the smallest donation towards my daughters cause.
Please donate what you can so we can help with her fight to be here,
Thank you
Her Momma!
