When you hear someone say they are going on a mission trip, in your mind you probably envision a church group visiting and playing with children, restoring and building safe keeps, and participating in some kind of religious activity. When I picture a mission trip, I envision a church group, people of all ages, going someplace other than home and helping the people of that area. I picture people serving the Lord and spreading his good word. I picture people playing with children, teaching them all about God's love- making God happy , which is exactly what we all should be doing. Everything I picture I want to make a reality.
As soon as I heard my church youth group was going to be taking a mission trip, I immediately jumped at the thought and knew I had to go. This summer break, we are traveling with a non-profit organization called Hearts In Motion and we are going to Guatemala. In Guatemala, we are going to be doing construction work (building things needed) and running a Bible School Program. Our main goal in this trip is spread God's word. While monetary support is necessary, prayers are above all else. I do believe that if God needs me in Guatemala, he will provide means of doing so. I am beyond excited to be given this opportunity and would love and appreciate if you would prayerfully consider joining with me in a financial donation to travel abroad in efforts of strengthening the Guatemalan community.
I'd be more than happy to discuss anything you may be curious about. Once again, please pray for me and my team often. If you decide to leave a donation, it is very must appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
