Raven Mad is the team name for us Ravens (MRFC U8s) Dads, the team is made up of: Steve Young (he's the one beasting the rest of us), Gareth Rowe, Dan Little, Tony Varrall, Mark Prenter and John Parish.

The Tough Mudder challenge is a 12 mile assault course incorporating 20 obstacles including running and climbing through ice, compact tunnels, electric currents, carrying wood and other people and of course the running in between across the 12 miles of mud.

We are taking part in this Madness in order to raise money for various charities including: Help for Heroes, SAMA (South Atlantic Medal Association) and for our rugby club Medway RFC (a community rugby club).
As you will see from our pictures, we are not all natural athletes (lifting a pint is not a sport) and it is hard work not only taking part but the training to prepare is harsh. We will post pictures as we go along.
