forever home over 4 grand kids heads

House has been foreclosed on and we must move. Trying to get a lease to own 1940's "fixer-upper". We need $20,000.00 more for down payment.
My husband and I are both self-employed. Rob owns a rain gutter business and I lease a station in a salon as a hairdresser. When the economy spiraled downward many of the housing builders were forced to stop building and were unable to pay their contractors, my husband among those. My clients were going further between services and some had to move due to lost jobs. Both of these things contributed to our finances being greatly decreased and we were unable to meet our monthly housing obligations.
At this same time, due to unforeseen circumstances, we took in our for young grandchildren to raise. Jaden was 3, Lilly was 2, Olivia was 18 months, and Riley was a newborn. The 3 older kids had moved 5 times. They had no security or consistency and their basic needs weren't being met. We felt it was our responsibility to take them in and keep them together, and give them the security they so desperately needed. Now they are being forced from the only home they've known.
We are trying to make this transition on them as easy as possible. We aren't looking for a hand out, but a hand up.
Sincerely,
Robin Overy
