Hello!
My name is Breanna and here is a little about my story. I am a self-driven individual working towards her goal of writing and illustrating her own children's book. I spend a lot of my time working on concepts and illustrations. I quit my job as a teacher last Spring to pursue a different direction in life. Art has always been my passion, and so here I am, making my own way doing freelance work. After almost a year of working and brainstorming, I finally feel I have a solid concept for a children's book.
Here is the idea!
The working idea for the book is titled "Me and My Boo". The book will be of a girl and her ghost friend named "Boo". It will be about them doing all the things that normal friends do! They talk for hours, eat pizza while binging movies, go out to eat, and even have slumber parties too! In order to prevent anyone from stealing my idea, I cannot give away too much, but the idea is that the roles of good and bad are flipped and that ultimately, we are all more alike than we think. We should not jump to prejudge someone just because of their appearance. We don't choose what we look like, but we choose who we will be.
