Trying to start our family with IVF
Donation protected
Hi there!!!
We are Jason and Ashley Sweeney we got married April 1 2017.
* No joke we got married apirl fools day*
Before that wonderful day we had been trying to have a child, and well let's just say it's been a rollercoaster ride that's had more downs then ups. So we reach out to our doctors for help. We were sent to a fertility clinic, and so the process began. We put our names on the waiting list for government founded IVF.
As we waited for IVF we tried many treatments on the way with sadly no success, but last Thursday May 16, 2019 we got the call we have been waiting 2 years for!!!! Our names are now at the top of the list to have IVF!!!! So we go into our clinic and talk with our doctor to find out what our next steps are.
Awesome right??? Problem solved..... Untill we are told how much the fertility drugs will cost and other procedures that are needed that are not covered underneath the government funding .
As said above we have tried different treatments along the way and our rainy day funds are lower then ideally to be able to cover the full cost of everything we need for IVF.
We start the process for IVF in July 2019 and as hard as it is we are asking for help so we can finally have the best chance there is to start are family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and thank you to anyone who is willing to help us!!
