Helping Ryleigh

As many of you may or may not know, I am preparing for my first marathon on October 28th. As I searched for a cause to run for, a tragedy struck in my community. Now, I want to take this opportunity to help a five-year-old child affected by this heartbreak. She is the same age as my son, Harley.  Ryleigh lost her father as he fought a battle that I fight every day. Will, her father, was an acquaintance, but we shared a common struggle against addiction and alcoholism. When I saw her at Will's remembrance ceremony, I was affected on a level I have not experienced. I immediately was transported to a scene where Kelly was telling Harley I was not coming home. I thought about the challenges financially and emotionally that Kelly and my children would face. That’s when I knew that I needed to Run for Ryleigh. I needed to run for this child that experienced this loss. I am asking, maybe even begging, to please help me raise money for  Ryleigh's present and future.  Anything you could spare can help. This will not replace the hurt, but sometimes a little help can mean everything.  Thank you.
