Because all the cats in the room have leukemia, we provide a rare opportunity for leukemia positive cats to share companionship and emotional support with each other while roaming free. Leukemia positive cats have been living here for 18 years and during that time I have had the honor to observe and participate in their daily lives. They have shown me how to face a terrible disease with dignity and grace and I would not have missed this time with them for anything in the world.
