Lisa's Medical Treatment

As some of you may know, my wife is a fun, intelligent woman who is always full of life. For two years I have watched her fade into a shadow of her former self. I have been with her to doctors appointments that left both us and the doctors scratching our heads. Finally, we started to get answers as the doctors discovered that she has an autoimmune disorder of her thyroid called Hashimoto's. Next, they discovered a tumor on her pituitary gland. Third, 7 months ago, her doctor informed us that she was positive for Lyme disease. As we worked with the doctor to come up with a treatment plan and we learned more and more about her diseases, we discovered that Lyme could, very well be the cause of much of what she has going on. The CDC and mainstream medical professionals, however, do not recognize the chronic Lyme, which attacks the neurological system causing encephalopothy,  that she suffers from. Therefore, neither does the medical insurance world. She has had to quit her job which she loved and spends most days watching life happen around her while she sruggles to find the energy to get herself out of bed. Her doctor has a treatment that requires intravenous medication and therapy that has been proven to work but is not covered by insurance. We have already spent so much on diagnosis and treatment that I am asking for help in raising this money so I can get my wife back.
