My journey begins...
Upon self examination, I felt a lump in my left breast. I told a co-worker, who was insistent that I needed to make an appointment to have it checked out. My co-worker referred me to a doctor that she had seen with a similar condition. Although I was still hesitant, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, I contacted the Breast Center, who scheduled the appointment for Friday, January 24, 2014.
