Miracle Survival! Truck plummets 700’ down a cliff

I was pushed off a mountain pass yesterday, 1/11/19, by an oncoming car that crossed into my lane around a blind corner. I flew about 250 feet in the air before the truck landed and cartwheeled for another 700 feet down the cliff. I survived this and a bitter cold hypothermic night in the snow for about 10-12 hours wearing only cowboy boots, pants, and a carhartt jacket. I hiked just over a mile in the pitch black in heavy snow drifts following the sounds of stream at the bottom of the canyon before hypothermia set in and I couldn’t go any further. I settled next to a massive cedar tree to block the wind and tried not to fall asleep for fear I wouldn’t wake up. I was bleeding and freezing. In the morning a state patrol officer heard my yells and we hiked another 2-3 miles out to where an ambulance could get me. All that with only a split lip, stitches and bruises everywhere. I was pulling a heavy all steel 4 horse trailer with my John Deere tractor inside it. The trailer is destroyed and nobody found the tractor. (Update: the second day more photos came from the state patrol showing the tractor was actually still in the trailer. I’m totally amazed and happy it stayed right where it was suppose to through all that!) The truck is so deep into the canyon it’s just going to stay there. No way to get it out. That Ford F-250 saved my life in the crash and that Carhartt jacket saved me from the elements. Wanting to see my beautiful wife and kids again is what pushed me on. I loved that truck and loved my tractor. They will be missed. Funds donated from this will go toward the medical expenses, legal expenses if for some reason there are any, lost wages, and whatever insurance doesn’t cover. Thank you for your help. My family really appreciates it. So glad to still be here with them.
