<div>It is with shattered hearts that we share the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved father, Walter Herbert Brown Sr. He passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2025, at just 62 years old. Our family is devastated beyond words.

<div>We are Walter’s five children, and we are broken. Dad was supposed to call when he got home early Saturday morning. Instead, at 1:34 a.m., his brother in Christ called us with the words we’ll never forget: “Hit-and-run. Your father’s gone.”

<div>At the hospital, they said it again—as if hearing it twice would make it real. Dad had just stepped outside, gospel music playing, to check why the radio stopped. He thought he’d be back in a minute. A driver who never stopped made sure he wasn’t.

<div>No more late-night fridge raids, unexpected calls, or his laughter filling our homes.
