Impacting Ugandan Orphans

I have lived in New York my entire life, and soon I will depart to live in Uganda, Africa for two years as a full-time volunteer. I will be counseling children in Africa who have experienced trauma through war, loss or HIV/AIDS. I will also be working to raise supporters that will provide African orphans with the opportunity to get an education, maintain a sense of hope, and live with a higher quality of life.
Prior to moving to Uganda, I will take the "Children at Risk School" in Perth, Australia. In order to pay for this training, airfare and accommodations, I will need to raise $11,000.
