Roberto Lopez is a young man, educator who teaches English in El Salvador. He has, sadly developed cancer in his leg (osteosarcoma).
He has two options:
A) A complete amputation of his leg to prevent the rapid spread of that cancer.
B) Roberto's second option is a surgery that surgically removes the cancerous section of his femur, and grafts healthy bone mass harvested from somewhere else in his body. in El Salvador, that surgery is $39000 with high failure rate.
