Gabriella’s Trip To National Youth Leadership

Gabriella’s teacher Mrs. Camasso personally selected her to represent St. Jude School at the National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM at Villanova University this summer. Mrs. Camasso recognized Gabriella as a student who already demonstrates exceptional maturity, scholastic merit, and leadership potential even at her young age. Gabriella will be attending a six day five night residential program. She will join other young students from around the region in intensive, engaging, hands-on workshops focused on five skills that are essential to success: self management, time management, communication, collaboration, and goal setting. Gabriella will also have the opportunity to explore a future career in these exciting STEM pathways: engineering, medicine, and detective work. She will even practice medical techniques during a realistic simulation titled “When Care Is Hours Away”.
