I am excited to tell you about our Spirit and Truth trip to India! I have the privilege of traveling with eight other team members to Tenali, Andhra Pradesh, where we will be serving Harvest India. Harvest India is an organization that is actively building wells, housing orphans, and planting churches.
Our team will travel to India from February 27th-March 13th to bring the gospel through the vehicle of worship. We are a band of 9 people who love Jesus and want to use our gifts for God’s Kingdom.
We also will assist the pastors there in several “tent” evangelist events to reach many villages with the hope of the Gospel through worship. The indigenous pastors tell us that our team will be a great help as locals are very receptive to Americans.
Our team is looking forward to serving and encouraging the Christian pastors who are working hard to further the Gospel in India. I am very excited and honored to be able to participate in this ministry.
I am also delighted to invite you to join our team in this ministry effort by partnering with us. First, and most importantly, we need your prayer support.
Please pray for:
* safety while traveling and serving in India
* our team to be spiritually prepared for any spiritual battles we will encounter
* our team to be prepared to share the Gospel boldly and lovingly with the Indian people
* our team to raise the funds needed to support the team expenses and support the Indian ministries
* the people that we will meet in India- that the Lord prepares their hearts to hear the loving grace of Jesus Christ
* the pastors and church planters in India to be encouraged and strengthened as followers of Christ and as leaders of the Church in India
Secondly, if God is calling you to financially participate in this ministry effort, I have committed to raise $3,250. All donations will go towards the overall cost of the trip, any excess funds will first help cover the team’s costs and secondly will be gifted to the ministry we are going to serve.
