IN KIDNEY FAILURE-HELP SAVE MY LIFE
Hello. Thank you for taking time from your busy day to read a bit more about my current need to raise funds.
***** I RECENTLY & UNEXPECTEDLY HAD TO RAISE THE INITIAL GOAL OF $3,000 TO THE CURRENT $4,750 DUE TO UNFORSEEN ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES THAT NEED TO BE DONE DUE TO ME BEING HOSPITALIZED FOR THE E. COLI AS WELL AS THE H1N1& TO REMOVE A TUMOR THEY HAVE NOW FOUND, BUT WERE UNAWARE OF UNTIL THIS PAST WEEK. I SINCERELY HOPE NO ONE THAT HAS BEEN KIND ENOUGH TO DONATE TAKES THIS THE WRONG WAY OR THINKS I AM TRYING TO BE UNGRATEFUL. AS STATED PREVIOUSLY, THESE ADDITIONAL COST CHANGES WERE UNEXPECTED & IT HAS MYSELF & MY FAMILY ON EDGE. I CAN ASSURE YOU ONCE ALL THE INFECTIONS & VIRUSES ARE REMOVED FROM MY PHYSICAL BEING WE WILL BEGIN THE OPERATION IMMEDIATELY. NOW THAT THIS CHANGE REQUIRES AN EVEN MORE INVASIVE APPROACH DUE TO TUMOR, THE POST OPERATIVE HEALING TIME HAS ALSO INCREASED. I have suffered from Chronic Kidney Disease my entire life. This is a very debilitating disease, which I had the poor fortune to inherit.
Not only do I suffer with this silent killer, but also a multitude of physiological abnormalities in the entire nephrological & urological systems.
A deadly E. Coli infection is currently spreading through my entire renal system & into other parts of my body. I am being treated with MANY powerful medications & anti-biotics.
Unfortunately, I am unable to use certain medications that are normally effective in treatment for these infections because I am diagnosed with epilepsy. Which also requires a lot of medications & very precise precautions as to what can & cannot be done to start & complete the surgery successfully!
At the present time this unexpected health issue has not allowed me to attend my Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon residency. So I am not currently working or interning.
The biggest problem is that I DO not have health insurance. It will not be Active until April 2014. (I cannot afford a single person private insurance plan at this time). I certainly cannot prolong having the surgery.
In order to begin surgical treatment immediately a down payment is required; since the entire process is extremely costly.
I have a strict arrangement made with the financial department of the hospital in order to begin & save my life!
I must raise $3,000 to put toward the down payment. This is the reason for the desperate need for any assistance that can be offered from this wonderful site.
As a highly educated, resourceful, deeply spiritual, & "too proud" woman it is extremely difficult for me to come out & ask for help.
I wish it didn't have to come to this, but after exhausting ALL my contacts, resources, & information I am left with no other option.
So please, take a moment & ask yourself what would you be willing to do to help save the life of a fellow human being?
If anyone who wishes to contribute has any questions about my conditions or financial situation, please do not hesitate to ask. I am more than happy to help you understand this a bit easier. As stated earlier, this is an extremely complex & delicate situation.
