Audrianna has always been a very active 2-year-old girl, as is her big sister, Giovanna. Their smiles and laughter light up a room. Audrianna started limping on her left leg on June 30, 2013, for no apparent reason. On July 30^th, 2013, after a month of X-Rays, blood work and finally extracting bone marrow from her hip, Audrianna was diagnosed with Pre B ALL Leukemia. One week later, Audrianna's baby brother, Vincenzo, was born. While we were overjoyed by the blessing of our third child, we were also heartbroken for Audrianna and prepared for the long journey ahead. Seeing your child in pain due to the harsh effects of chemotherapy is difficult, but treatment is necessary in order to get her healthy. This entire process has had a learning curve, but we learn more about leukemia and treatment every day. If all goes as planned, Audrianna will complete her Chemotherapy by October 2015.
