A Parent's worst nightmare

A parent’s worst nightmare.

On the bright sunny afternoon of September 5th our dear friend and colleague Rose Walder’s 21-year-old son Bradley Jackson was hauling a load of hot tar from Winnipeg to North Dakota. On route, something went horribly wrong and the truck flipped on its side, hot tar flowed into the cab of the truck with Bradley still inside.

Bradley was airlifted to Hennepin Burn Centre in Minneapolis where they have established that he most likely has 3rd degree burns to 95% of his body. Doctors told Rose that they are to get down to the hospital as soon as possible as he is in critical condition and has a high chance of infection because of how bad the burns are on his body.

At the moment, things are not looking optimistic for Bradley and the family asks for your prayers and positive thoughts to get them emotionally through this most difficult of tragedies.

Rose, Corey and the family are of course unsure about what the future holds for them and will need to be away from home to deal with all that this entails. This time away from home and work will cause an extreme hardship for them and their family in the interim. This family is suffering emotionally. Please help us, help them financially.

“Besides our prayers, this is all we can do for them now.”

All donations made are to help the family with costs of everything that has happened to them in the last few days and for what’s coming ahead.
