<div>In December of 2023, I made a dangerous trip to northern Gaza after hearing news that my home was in a targeted area. It was then that I came face to face with the reality that my children, my wife, my grandchildren were all now homeless. I used to have an optometry clinic, it too was targeted by an attack and destroyed.

<div>I never wanted or expected my family to leave our homeland, but sadly, the situation there is forcing everyone to leave - my family is exposed to death at every minute.
