Four More Wards Adoption Fund

For years, our hearts have been moved by the needs of orphaned children around the world. But in the last few months God has allowed us to move from caring to action! We are thrilled to be bringing four Eastern European children into our family and we can't wait until they are officially part of the Ward family.
My name is Heather. My husband Phil and I have been married since 2003. Our son Jake was born in 2009. God has blessed us with a church we love, family nearby, as well as supportive friends, and good jobs that we've held for many years.
Phil was raised in Greenville, S.C., where we live now. I grew up in Wisconsin and came here for college, where I met Phil. Most of his family is in town. My parents and two married siblings are here, too. Our four new children aren't just joining our immediate family. They're joining a tapestry of love that's wide and tightly woven.
I've been interested in international adoption since I was very young. As a married couple, we've had the chance to be exposed to our close friends' adoption from Russia. Seeing that family experience the joy of adoption opened our hearts even more.
And now it's our turn! We are in the process of bringing home four siblings who are in two different orphanages. They range in age from 9 to 16. The oldest is a boy and the other three are girls. We hosted the older two in our home over Christmas and completely fell in love! We haven't met the younger siblings but have already begun to love them and cannot wait for them to be a part of our family. God surprised is with this blessing so of course a $50,000 adoption fund was not in our 2014 budget! We are looking to friends, family, acquaintances, and those we don't even know to help us give these four children a loving home. Thank you for considering giving to us.
