Mission Trips

Hey everyone! I need your help! This year, it is my goal to serve different parts of the world by going on three mission trips. It is our privilege as Christians to be disciples and show people the love of Christ. My favorite verse is James 2:17 because it says that faith, if it is unaccompanied by action, is dead. This verse has become part of my life mission and I hope to live it out this year by going to New Jersey during spring break and to Bimini, Bahamas during May with a mission based Bible study group I am a part of called GPS (Go Passionately Serve). In New Jersey we will be restoring houses and helping a community of victims of hurricane Sandy. In Bimini we will lead Bible studies and do VBS activities with some groups of kids there. My third mission trip is to Thailand in July with a group of people from FUMC Houston. This mission trip will be centered around spending time discipiling adults and children at a school and soon to be living center that FUMC funds. I need as much help as possible to raise enough money so that I can serve on these trips. New Jersey is $250, Bimini is $750 and Thailand is about $3,000. Any donation is extremely appreciated. I know that God will ultimately provide for me, and I trust Him completely.
