Hucclecote netball club have had a crazy idea, to raise money for our dear friend Carly. We've decided to cycle from London to Paris (all of us being beginner cyclists) and to make matters worse we are going to attempt to cycle 156 miles in 24 hours!!! I said it was a crazy idea!! Friday 18th April 2014.... yes this year!
On the 5th November 2011 Carly had a tragic accident which has resulted in her breaking her neck in 3 places, leaving her paralysed from the neck down. Carly spent her first 6 months in Salisbury Hospital but is now safely home where she belongs, Carly is on the long road to recovery and is adamant that she will prove to everyone that she is a fighter and will regain movement and be able to walk again.
