John Dorseys Drive for Hope

Our friend John Dorsey's Cruise down the Road of Life has taken a slight detour.
On August 3, 2013 he was diagnosed with Accute Leukemia. John spent long periods of time at UW Hospital and Meriter Hospital in Madison this fall. His leukemia has been chemotherapy-resistant. Because of his relatively good health otherwise, he has been participating in clinical trials at Northwestern University in Chicago. If the next trial is not available at Northwestern, they will need to fly to Houston.
Northwestern specializes in stem cell and bone marrow transplants. The goal is for John to have both of those procedures done once he is in remission. The bone marrow registry has identified 4 matches (one perfect!) from the 10 million in the pool. But he has to be in remission first. Chemo pills have been keeping the cancer at bay, but not in remission..YET! Please join us in praying for that to happen soon!!!
One can only imagine the additional expenses this ordeal has placed on their family. This is where we all come in. We are hoping you will consider donating to the Dorsey Drive for Hope to help John and Jean with the countless trips to Madison and Chicago, as well as other bills.

You can donate directly to FCCU Attn John Dorsey Benefit 800 Madison Ave Fort Atkinson Wi 53538 or on this page.
