Completing our Family
We began the adoption process to complete our family!

In 2009 we unexpectedly had a one month old baby! After eight years of not having to change a diaper my wife and I had to start again. At first I didn't even want to hold him or get attached to him. I just knew he was going to go back to his mom. He won me over, I am not made of rock. Four years later he is still with us and everyday he says, he loves his family. Our life's would not be the same without him. He calls me dad and my wife mom, after all that is what we are to him. Now we just want to make it legal in the eyes of the court. We've already spent more than $4,000 in attorney fees and we haven't even gone to court. Our lawyer has gone one time to let the judge know we have hired her and that we want to adopt. We are in need of some help now. We refinanced our car loan to get the money to get started. Now we need more money to finish the process. Anything you can give will help us and would be greatly appreciated. The goal I have set is what I think would help us get through the next hearing. We plan to use all of our tax return to finish the process; hopefully it will be enough to cover the remaining cost.
