Adam's Medical Fund

Adam, started having some pain in his hip several months ago which progressively got worse.  Eventually the pain became almost unbearable.  After multiple tests and a bone biopsy, he has now been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (a rare form of bone cancer).  The primary tumor has also caused his hip to fracture, and he cannot walk without crutches or assistance.  His pain is still severe, and he will now be undergoing intensive chemotherapy for the next 9 weeks beginning Tuesday.  We still don't know the full extent of the cancer, and should be finding out soon.

Adam will be unable to work during his treatment, and he has a wife and (almost) 3 year old little girl to help support.  They have medical insurance, but will likely have numerous out-of-pocket expenses.  The loss of Adam's income will make things even more difficult.  He has already been out of work for two weeks, and treatment hasn't even started.  

We will be so grateful for even the smallest donations to help them through this stressful time.  We would love to reach our goal by the third week of Adam's chemotherapy.  When I asked Adam and Christine if I could start this page for them, they were hesitant.  They did not want to ask for help, and yet we know that they are going to need it.
