Bob Bender Medical Fund Pittsburgh

Hello my name is Bob Bender.  I'm a 61 year old male living in Pittsburgh, the home of the Steelers.  I'm fighting Diabetic kidney failure.  Up until 2 years ago I worked as a Gaffer in the Entertainment industry.  Recently  I lost my left leg due to amputation after 7 surgeries to try to save it.  I'm currently on Dialysis 3 days a week and hoping to get back on the kidney transplant list.  Right now I'm unable to work and had to take withdrawal from the union.  I've fallen behind on all of my bills.  Hospital, Doctors, mortgage, utilities, auto, taxes and am really struggling just to pay for medications and food. I've exhausted my retirement fund.  I need help right away to get me through this crisis.   I'm hoping to get back on my feet with a prosthetic leg and to return back to the profession that I know and love.  I just need some help to stabilize my life for this recovery period.  Any and all help is greatly appreciated.  A small amount to you is still a great help to me.  I know that I can get through this with your help.  Happy Holidays.  Let's hope that 2016 is a great year for all of us.
