6,795 MILES AWAY...

Hello! I have been given the opportunity to travel 6,795 miles to Beijing, China this June. While in Beijing I will be working at Angel Home, an orphanage for children with disabilities. This opportunity is one I have been praying and waiting for, for years! As some may know, I am a special education teacher and have a heart and passion for helping people with disabilities in any way I can. While being at Angel Home I will be able to establish relationships and make impacts on the lives of children with disabilities; children who may not have had a chance to experience a special bond with a caring adult. At the orphanage I will be doing various tasks, from bottle feeding babies to teaching mini lessons, songs, and games. While this trip is exciting and a dream come true it is also very costly. I would be so blessed if you would be willing to financially contribute to my trip in any way possible! This trip is associated with an organization called Hearts and Hands. Hearts and Hands International is a 501 c(3) public charity that brings people and resources together to help children at risk around the world.
