Help Pay Calvin's Medical Bills

Donation protected

In August 2013, Nick Cearley-Lesh and Eric Cearley-Lesh's 10 year old, loving happy chihuahua Calvin J. Bean was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. This happy puppy was immediately put on a regimen of several pills a day, which helped with his coughing and shortness of breath.

On Jan 30th, Calvin took a turn for the worse, vomiting blood, not able to breath. His breaths per minute was 150, as opposed to a healthy 30. He stayed overnight at the ICU in an oxygen tank and survived.

However, on Feb 1st, Calvin's little body couldn't support his giant heart and he passed away. Nick and Eric did everything they could for the little guy, which meant taking him to the vet, getting medicines, x-rays, etc. The total vet bills cost over $4000.

This page is dedicated to helping Nick and Eric cover the exhorbitant costs of vet bills. This burden is so much to take, and any little bit would help them.

As Nick's best friend, I have known Calvin for his entire life. He was Nick and Eric's best friend/child. He raised him from a wee puppy, when they brought him home in a sock. Everyone who knew Calvin loved him. He was an amazing dog with an old soul and an adorable personality. He made everyone smile. Calvin was not a typical chihuahua. He was like a mini, football shaped fox, that made dinosaur noises.
