Surrogacy and Medical Bills

Hello Kind Souls,
My husband and I have long dreamed of having a child. We have been together for 13 years, were married this past November and excitedly began the surrogacy journey back in April.

We were blessed with a gorgeous daughter born via surrogacy on Jan. 11th. She is beyond perfect and wonderful and we are overjoyed to treasure such a beautiful little girl.

Sadly, we just discovered our amazing surrogate had complications post delivery and had to have her uterus removed. We cannot express how terrible and horrible this is for the incredible woman who made our dream a possibility.

Due to her devastating loss we now owe her a large sum of money as per our surrogacy contract - as well as additional hospital bills for our daughter that my insurance plan will not cover. Unfortunately we have already used all our savings and have taken out a loan to pay the surrogacy fees for our daughter and do not have the funds. Despite both of us having full-time jobs our finances are extremely strained.

We also realize a monetary payment can never repair the pain of our poor surrogate's loss and we hope the life-long relationship we have established with this amazing women will provide some semblance of solace. She will forever be in our lives and her sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We have accepted the financial struggle in order to make our family a reality, but this additional money owed is outside our current financial situation and thus we are seeking help.

So, if you are of a mind to donate towards our family and to this powerful, kind woman for our family we would be forever thankful to you.
