232,670 new cases of invasive breast cancer are diagnosed in women. Of those cases, 40,000 of them will die from breast cancer. 1 in 8 women have breast cancer according to the National Cancer Society! Shannon Northrup is a fighter and is going to kick cancer's butt!

Shannon found her lump in October 2013 and was monitoring it, she was officially diagnosed with very aggressive breast cancer on December 5th, 2013. She has had a lumpectomy and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Shannon will have a tough road ahead and once she completes chemotherapy, she will begin radiation treatment.
Shannon has two children, ages 14 and 11 and a loving significant other, Aaron, who also has two children, ages 15 and 17. Shannon doesn't have any other family in the Tri-Cities area besides her Pasco Police Brothers and Sisters! We help OUR own!
Pasco Police Officers have showered Shannon with love and support by making meals. 22 male Officer's shaved their head in support of Shannon's journey.
Pasco Police Officer Michelle Goenen will be shaving her full head of hair in support of Shannon on February 28th, 2014, if the $5,000 goal is met.
