2nd Campaign for my New Start Fund

Dear Friends,

I am starting a new campaign so that I can start a new job as well as sublet or find a permanent place to live to have my hip surgery in.

First I wanted to say thank you agian to everyone who contributed to my last campaign. It enabled me to have money for rent and living expenses which was deeply appreicated since I have not been able to find full time work. 

I want to share that since March, I have been doing my best to find work and am happy to say that I now have a fantastic opportunity to work with a new company in town that offers ride sharing.Uber is in other states but recently opened in Sonoma County, Marin and San Francisco. It also helps someone, like myself, get a newer car if they need one, since they require the car to be 2005 and up before you can even work. 

So my first goal of this campaign is to raise the 7% down payment I will need to get me a car. The car dealership that works with Uber gave me an amount to walk in with which includes tax and license. They said $1500 should do it and so I decided that doing another campaign would be a good idea. Borrowing money can be difficult as you might know and this just felt better. Of course I will also sell my car, but as it is old I will most likely get between $5-800 and I will of course use this money toward any expenses I have like insurance, and money to live on after my surgery.  The other $1500 is going to rent as I still need my hip surgery which has been postoned a few times and now again by the doctor until July or later. I have the opportunity to sublet in July and part of August or I may just be able to find a permanent situtation as well. Meanwhile I will get the car and begin working as soon as I can to start the cash flow coming in. Yeah!

Why should you contribute to this campaign?

Even though you may have given already to my earlier campaign, I feel that this time with a job soon to be available to me, I will be able to truly get myself solvent. I know that right now I can't raise this amount on my own, I know that I need to ask my friends both new and old to once again look and see if they, you are willing to contribute to my campaign, allowing me to really make a shift in my financial situation.

It has been a rocky road this whole past year, I so want to move on and be able to sustain myself with more ease, I also know that with the surgery behind me, and a new job ahead of me I will have the opportunity to do just that.

I feel that the $3000 is truly doable and the sooner the better. As quickly as I can raise the money to get a car, I can go in and buy it. Then I can pay off the rent I currently owe, say yes to the sublet or other situation if I find one, and then have my surgery. I know that with this opportunity to work with Uber and your generosity I will be able to finally get settled and have all that I need to shift my cirucumstances.
