Brinna’s World University Games Judo Trip

I have been selected to represent the USA collegiate judo team in the 2019 Summer World University Games in Naples, Italy. It is the second largest multi-sport event in the world, just behind the summer Olympics, and there will be over 9,000 athletes competing from all over the world. It will be from July 3-14, 2019. I will have to pay for airfare, 7 days room and board, team apparel, training, and other fees. I am currently a junior at Austin Peay State University and am majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I have been doing judo since I was 3 years old and have medaled in several major tournaments: -8 time TN state gold medalist-Junior Olympic gold medalist -USJA nationals gold medalist -2 time Junior US Open silver medalist -Pan-American cup silver medalist -North/Central American championships silver medalist -FISU America Games bronze medalist -Currently ranked 5th in the country for the 52kg category. I am very excited to represent Austin Peay State University and the USA in the 2019 World University Games for Judo, and I hope to make you all proud. Thank you in advance for all of your support!
