Denver Sinkhole Repair

Dear Denver Community and family

I humbly come before you and ask for a moment of your time and consideration. We have a big problem and need help. The sinkhole situation on Hickory Creek Dr is horrible. If you do not believe it’s as bad as it has been stated. 
I challenge you to come make the walk and see the problem first hand, this is horrific, 30 homes affected, that’s 30 FAMILIES, it’s the holidays and it’s cold and tomorrow it rains again, we 30 families have to make this journey all day tomorrow in the rain, women, children, elderly, handicapped, no matter race, age, gender, sexuality, handicaps, origin, we are ALL the same. We are people and all suffer this the same. We all have put in the max amount of money each family can, some not celebrating Christmas to put their money towards this problem. So please no comments, saying you should pay for it, believe me, we are! This neighborhood isn’t a very high income neighborhood, but are still good people, who have feelings and we completely understand that there should have been an HOA, to possibly have funds set aside for a problem like this, but we are past that point, if we could change the past and be better prepared, we definitely would, but we can’t and we are suffering. I’ve never been one to beg or ask for help, and this is the last thing I want to be doing, I’m usually the giver. So I humbly ask if you can even spare $5, anything will help, anything.
