Boot Project for Our Homeless Vets!

Donation protected
Last winter I had the honor of volunteering at the VA in Washington, DC to support our homeless veterans. Hundreds and hundreds of men stood in line to get the basic necessities such as medical care, coats, boots, hair cuts and food. Our HEROES lined up for things that so many of us take for granted!!! I was in the "boot " room, providing sneakers and boots for these men and we ran out with hundreds still needing warm and dry footwear. I would like to make sure that NEVER happens again!

This year's  “Walk In Their Foot Steps” New Shoe/Boot Collection, in support of our homeless veterans is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2015, in Washington, DC.

Each year, for the past five years, we have run out of boots/shoes so, our goal this year is to collect 1500 pairs to be distributed to veterans.  We are in desperate need of NEW boots and shoes for men in all sizes.

I am asking for YOUR help! If you would be willing to purchase one or more pair of boots or sneakers (size 9-15) and send them to me, you would be helping our heroes more than you can imagine! We are looking to give NEW, unused boots and sneakers only. I have secured storage space already and will collect them!
Please send them to:
