Help us move!

I hate doing this, since I know money is tight for everyone. The apartment where we currently live is (and truthfully, has been) beyond our means with Mike as our only wage earner. We didn't end our lease last year because while it wasn't much of one, I had a job. Even then we were scrimping and stretching every dollar we could. And when I lost my job in October, I kept looking for work - I have been looking for work pretty much steadily since *before* I lost my job, because of the low hours and low wages there. Unfortunately, unemployment was not approved for me. Mike has already sold almost half his comic collection, we're listing some of his collectible figures on eBay, we've sold other things where we could. We have hit the end of what we can do. We won't be renewing our lease here (we'll need to be out by the 1st of March), and we have some good leads on new places that we *can* afford on only one income. To be flatly honest, we have been living on raman, peanut butter, and rice for the last month. I don't know what to do except turn to you.

We have set up this gofundme to raise money for moving costs: Security Deposit, Pet Deposit, first month's rent, updated vaccinations for Onyx (since they were due December last and any new lease will require he be up-to-date), movers/truck rental, even packing materials such as tape.

Every little bit helps, and we would be grateful if you could spread the word, even if you can't donate. Times are tough all around, and we understand that.
