Hello, Im sharing this for my father Gordon. "On June 2, 2019 my wife and I were unexpectedly hit by a tornado in Fort Smith,N.T. Our home was then severely damaged and our garage was lifted in the air and dropped down our street and was unrepairable. We are now homeless due to this disaster, we are trying to figure out how to get a roof over our heads again as I am retired from Aurora College- Head Instructor for HEO. I am an elder so I cannot go back to work. Right now the costs we are faced with are to fully gut- renovate the entire house to bring the wiring up back up to code. The wiring would need to be done by an electrician. We have estimated to do the whole house would be around $30,000. We understand that won't be a realistic goal but any help at this point is greatly appreciated. We would need to get started as soon as possible, as we have short summers here in the N.W.T so there is limited time to work with the weather."
