A diagnosis of cancer is pretty darn fearful. You reflect on friends and/or family who died of cancer. Of all the celebrities who got cancer, gradually deteriorated and died. Even every TV show or movie featuring someone with cancer has them dying at the end.
So it's no wonder research shows that cancer is the most feared disease in the world along with being the most feared word too. How could it not be - given these circumstances.
A couple weeks ago my sister was diagnose with stage 3 lung cancer (Non small cell lung cancer - NSCLC).
On Monday, February 3rd she will begin her first of 6 chemo treatments and her first of 30 radiation treatments. If you don't know, chemo and radiation will wreak havoc on her body. Which is why I've researched and found supplements that she will be able to take to help her through this process. These supplements are also know to help kill the cancer cells.
However, these supplements are not cheap, indeed they are very expensive. Which is one of the main reasons most people do not take them. They cannot afford them. Thus the reason for this donation site.
The protocol for the supplements are extensive and costly. And we are asking all family members and friends to please help us raise this money to obtain these supplements for our Sister.
The supplements will cost us $900/month for 5 months, approximately $4500. Our goal amount is $5000 because after fees are paid it would leave us with approximately what we need.
We already have had over $800 in offline donations already. Which leaves us with $3700 to go.
