Service Dog

As many of my friends know I have been privileged to have the support of Weary, an Australian Cattle Dog, over the last few years. Weary is a service dog who has assisted me stay safe  from the dangers posed by my various illnesses and disabilities.

Unfortunately Weary, has to be retired as a service dog. The downside to this is that the symptoms of my illnesses are re manifesting themselves and I am finding it increasingly difficult to function as a relatively normal person in public. Hence I need to replace Weary.

Weary was provided to me by the wonderful people of Whiskey's Wish. They are a charity based in Qld. Service dogs are not funded by DVA and all the money that goes into supporting Whiskey's Wish and Service Dog teams is raised through donation.

To replace Weary will cost about $3000. This includes identifiying and purchasing a suitable dog, vet and other miscellaneous bills.

So what I would like to do is raise this amount of money and donate all funds raised to Whiskey's Wish to assist with the costs of replacing Weary.
