Family In need of support

My neighbor and friend has an amazing family very happy and kind hearted. Unfortunately something very horrible has happened. They sent 8 year old son to his room for a time out. After 15min they went to get him and discovered he tried to hang himself. He was not a depressed or sad boy it came out of the blue and no one would have thought he would do this. We all feel he wasn't trying to end his life. It took paramedics several minutes to revive him. He is in ICU currently and his parents by his side. This comes at a cost the food needed while at the hospital and for the siblings, Unable to go to work as they are afraid to leave his side because any moment could be his last at this point in time and either way things go there will be a long recovery or an option I don't even want to say. They have no money left from Christmas they have a tight budget monthly. These are people that give all they can such as inviting strangers into their home that were in need of Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas dinner. I ask that people show them the love they have showed to so many others. Every little bit helps. Thank you so much.
